Ollie has been coming down from Maine to work on gallery. He and Jenna have continued digging as you can see from previous photo the pink insulation exposed. Ollie recently cut down all the trees on top of the gallery. One of the cedars was 30 feet high. He is talking to Cindy (who came one week to help with organizing)and Tom who lives nearby and has helped too with his landscaping skills . Tom has also lent me tools like a working wheelbarrow.
News and updates about the problems with the roof at Malcolm and Karen Wells' Underground Art Gallery, what was learned, and how the problem was corrected--creating a roof that is better than ever.

Malcolm Wells - Perpetuating His Vision
Deemed the father of modern earth-sheltered architecture, the late Malcolm Wells imagined a future in which society worked with nature, rather than against it. Throughout the restoration of the Underground Art Gallery, those involved are committed to continuing Mr. Wells' work of restoring the earth's surface to a more natural habitat for a sustainable future.
